She has boundless amounts of energy, leading the team to deliver our Potts Point regulars with excellent service served up with a cheeky sense of humour. When she’s not taste testing all the fine foods in the shop she’ll be cutting laps at the local pool. Stephen Harris is a veteran of the wine industry with well over 20 years’ experience. Born into a wine industry family, he began his retail experience as a 4 year old on the floor at his father’s famous wine store 60 Darling St Balmain. He commenced with Neighbourhood Cellars by curating the perfect wine-list in our Potts Point store with an option for every person, every budget and every occasion, and is now continuing that mission at our Paddo shop.
She has spent the last few years travelling to different wine regions and working vintages around the world and Australia. She has worked in California, Tasmania, Vancouver Island, the Yarra Valley and most recently here on the Mornington Peninsula. She made the move from wine production to retail as a way to learn more about wine on a global scale and loves sampling wines she normally wouldn’t be able to – research is incredibly important! Wild fermentation and minimal intervention including no use of additives such as commercial yeast, acids or enzymes and low sulfur at bottling.
