Taiwan 5-Day Tour 2023

Taiwan 5-Day Tour 2023

Tokyo and Taipei are the best places for people who enjoy doing a lot of eating whilst overseas. You may well be asked to pose for photos with groups of locals. Can't understand why more people don't visit Taiwan. It is an extremely scenic country and easy to get to.
Still working out what to buy as well that is unique to Kaohsiung . Ruifeng is where my I go every time I visit Taiwan with my wife . That's 台東必買美食 what I suspected, based on the other HSR stations . Hsr station is kind of far like up near the lake with the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas.

The Dandy Hotel, Tianjin Branch was very comfortable and a great base. After visiting Taipei Main Station and Ximen, the other big areas for hotels, they did not appeal as much. Otherwise, Google Maps had super useful live times for buses and  which carriages were least crowded on trains.
Hu Yue Lakeview Hotel sure knows how to delight its guests by reserving a great spot to serve its breakfast. Clean and spacious hotel at Sun Moon LakeAfter a short rest, we drove to Ci En Pagoda and managed to catch an amazing sunset view of Sun Moon Lake for free. Best of all, there were very few people around. I’m glad that we allocated one day at Sun Moon Lake as it was quite an enjoyable experience – we’d intentionally avoided the touristy spots such as Shuishe Pier. Hakka lunch at Sanyi (三義)Next, we made our way to Remains of Longteng Bridge.
'Round the Island Tourist Pass', costs $1706 NTD, and is a coupon book of 7 trips, can't double back on trips, cannot be used on Taiwan High Speed Rail , valid for 15 days. I stayed in 'The Grand Hotel' that is favoured by chinese tourists, and was working in a hospital. I only saw 2 other westerners while i was there, it was a little surreal, but i stayed in 'The Grand Hotel' that is favoured by chinese tourists, and was working in a hospital. It's well worth your time and money to visit the top of Taipei 101. The shopping mall in the bottom is as high end as one would expect, and the food court has some excellent and not overly expensive food. However, the unresolved "Taiwan question" and "One China" issue continues to stir emotions and political debate.

Have a meal at the on-site café specialising in hot-pot dishes from the gardens combined with fresh seafood and noodles. You can even create your own combinations and dipping sauces. Out of the hotels in Taitung City we've come across, these properties are priced the lowest. Consider alternative dates if you're able to compare prices. Providing a shuttle service to Taitung Airport, as well as complimentary wireless internet, Kai Shen Starlight Hotel is a convenient base in Taitung City.
Maybe try and keep your time in Taipei minimal this time since you've already been before. Also getting to the east coast isn't serviced by high speed rail so it takes a couple of hours by train if you do so that way. Hmm i stayed at Dong Wu Hotel in January this year, i mean it was pretty easy to get around although you need to change train line  to get to the red train line.

All lines have connecting stations, eg the red and green  lines connect at Zhongshan station. Sometimes there is a bit of walk when connecting from one line to another so just follow the signs. If you are in a party of 3-5, consider taking a taxi instead as this may workout cheaper than your MRT fares combined. The advantage of a taxi is you will save time and effort as well. If you have a car you might visit all in one day. We took public transport – thus two separate trips not including Pingxi.
This comfortable hotel in Taitung City offers complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as a coffee bar and a wake-up service. It provides 3.5-star accommodation with air-conditioned rooms. We did the same tour almost five years ago, Allan Chou the best tour guide ever! Went over and above as a guide and ran everything seemlesly and like clock work this is not a follow the guide tour. You get loads of info and then good amount of time to explore. Even organised a left item to be forwarded ahead to Taipei hotel before we got back from the trip.
There's no better way to understand a destination than to literally take a bite out of it! You're invited to explore Taitung County by dining on some of its most tantalizing food and drink. Taitung sits 40 kilometres away from Chishang and is an important part of the local area. Surrounding sights include the National Museum of Prehistory, the Taitung Railway Art Village and the Fu An Gong.
