Spending 1 Beautiful Night Camping in the Desert in Morocco

Spending 1 Beautiful Night Camping in the Desert in Morocco

It’s hard to say without knowing your family personally, but a desert tour definitely wouldn’t be the most comfortable thing any of you have ever done. I have been reading blog after blog and am more confused. I have seen plenty of tour operator websites offer the 4 day 3 night from Marrakech to Fes. I’m sure that literally any of the tour operators would be happy to give you that trip even if it isn’t listed on the website. I’m shopping for tour operators myself and I get the feeling that most of these are either one-man shows or just shell websites that sell the clients to the few bigger companies that exist….
Fortunately, there was an extra comforter our tent’s trunk, so I actually slept on top of that and was much more comfortable. I did later hear that we were lucky with the hot water, as some of our friends did not have such Sahara desert camping in morocco good fortune with that. That didn’t stop any of us from enjoying a couple of bottles of wine, though! Dessert consisted of sweets which I couldn’t quite identify and didn’t particularly care for (I’m more of a salt lover).

Aside from the free things you can do independently, Merzouga offers a plethora of cheap activities that almost every budget traveler will love. Dayet Srji is also a great place to watch the sunset and many Moroccan families will spend the winter evenings on the shores of this lake having a picnic with their loved ones. Since Merzouga is a small town, the sand dunes around it receive almost no light pollution, making this a prime stargazing location. Dawn in the desert is also a beautiful sight, as the sun’s first rays begin to diminish the night chill and you feel the air warming up. This is, in my opinion, one of the best free activities to do in Merzouga.
In addition, go on an unforgettable desert adventure with Morocco Sahara Desert tours. Learn about the people, eat the food, and ride camels across the desert, passing massive dunes in Merzouga, Morocco. Morocco Sahara Desert Tours invites you to visit this beautiful country, which is a dream destination for travelers from all over the world.

It was awesome when I initially got on, but after about 30 minutes, my crotch area hurt really bad – haha. I had to get myself together and deal with the pain because the kids loved it and they were having such a great time riding. Next time I’ll pass on the camel ride and take the 4×4 all the way to the camp site instead and save myself the pain – ?. Visiting Khamlia was so nice, the kids interacted with and took photos with the locals. I love to see how these kids bond and make friends with new kids all over the world even when they don’t speak the same language. There are many variations of tours offered, group tours and private tours.
Our camels and our cameleer were ready for us when we arrived. They also provide activities including camel rides, sandboarding, 4×4 trips, quad bikes, and buggies.
