In this 10-week R&B Skool, students will get together and gain some real experience making music in a band! We are welcoming students on guitar, bass guitar, drums, and voice from ages 13 to 18.

Antonio has over 15 years of experience in live music and over ten years experience in teaching piano and percussion. He draws upon his expertise and brings his experience into the classroom to help students develop strong skill sets and learn about opportunities that exist beyond the classroom. With a Bachelor of Arts from the Conservatory of Music in Havana, Antonio draws on my educational learnings to help students find their passion for music while developing good habits. Antonio loves teaching instrumental techniques to students and take time to evaluate work to promote growth. He believe there is value in teaching both classical and contemporary music and focuses on teaching various concepts of music including rhythm, tempo, and pitch. This course is great for anyone with songs/material they’ve already written or students who participated in the last Intro Song Writing session. Andrew is a versatile musician and artist from Toronto, Canada performing music ranging from Indo-Jazz, World Music and Indian Classical Raga Music to Contemporary Jazz and Improvised Music. He is among one of the first musicians to perform Indian Classical music on the Alto Saxophone. He is a seasoned performer through numerous feature concerts around the globe with maestros and is the co-leader of many successful creative musical projects. We have students that have enjoyed learning with us for over a decade.
There is never an age restriction when it comes to learning something of this sort. Certain piano accessories are not required in order for you to to begin learning the piano. Don't hesitate to ask your piano tutor for help on what accessories you should buy in order to play the music you would like. In Song Writers Circle students will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge in song writing and continue to work on music that they have already written. Workshopping and collaboration will be a major part of program along with one on one work with Theo to bring their music to the next level.
Each piece has a relatable story, and Sergei helps the student to uncover their own story and vision. Greater Toronto Music has provided a window of joy for my 7 year old. Each Tuesday he looks forward to his session with Kyle to learn the keyboard. I receive helpful text messages of my son's progress after each session. When technology plays havoc - our instructor Kyle always finds a way to make the time up.

Private lessons include individual, weekly instruction by professional adult musicians. Monthly tuition payments reserve a weekly lesson time, allowing teachers to prepare specialized curriculum. Students are expected to practice daily at home to maintain consistent progress.
With a willingness to volunteer in her church’s children’s ministries since the age of 14, Katharine has several years of experience working with children. As a piano teacher, Katharine aims to help her students enjoy the process of learning kids piano classes and develop a lasting passion for the piano. She always seeks to provide the right encouragement and knowledge for each individual student, leading them to acquire both proper skill and technique in piano and a deeper understanding of music.

She received numerous scholarships for her academic excellence in those years. Andrew is acclaimed by his professional colleagues as an inspiring musician and a deep-and-far reaching coach for both professional and amateur choral and orchestral units. Andrew holds a Master Degree from University of Cincinnati in Choral Conducting and a Bachelor Degree from Hong Kong Baptist University in Music and Fine Arts.
