We love sending Bri there and not only are the staff dedicated to the kids but they also care about the families. The staff have her special needs in the front of their mind and we’ve complete trust and faith in Judy and her team. Educators actively observe and listen to the children, adapting activities based on their interests to promote curiosity and discovery.
Our programs encourage children to be curious, confident and independent thinkers, who love learning and improving their capabilities. As a not-for-profit organisation, we are committed to supporting children and families and we achieve this by creating strong relationships with parents, guardians and communities. The oral language supports literacy learning and a child’s oral language ability is the best predictor for later success in learning to read and write. Hearing the sounds within a language is the first critical step for all literacy learning. Find a child care, kindergarten or preschool centre near you, and enquire about availability at our centres. Throughout their time at our centre, Children feel a sense of becoming as we prepare them for the next age group or to move on to school.
Ontario stands out as the only province requiring municipal involvement in child care. The province funds 47 service system managers—Consolidated Municipal Service Managers (CMSMs) and District Social Services Administration Boards (DSSABs)—tasked with service planning and funding allocation. At Aspire Pakenham, we also like to pay importance to different awareness days throughout the year. For Reconciliation Week, the 4-year-old kinder children were engaged in numerous activities related to Aboriginal culture in line with Reconciliation Week 2024. They painted gumtree leaves, created dot paintings of the alphabet, read books on Aboriginal culture, and participated in play dough activities. They were excited to learn  about unique Aboriginal colors and their meanings, providing a fantastic opportunity to educate our children about our culture.

This enables them to skillfully tailor programs that extend and enhance children's learning. Our centre is located on the grounds of John Henry Primary School in Pakenham which gives us unique opportunities to develop school-readiness. It also offers parents a convenient one drop-off and pick-up location for children of all ages. Our centre chef prepares and cooks nutritious meals daily, catering to the unique dietary requirements of every child. Group play is important as it helps our toddlers develop important social skills such as, turn-taking, developing self-confidence and emotional self-regulation.

Our daughter Sophie has been at Birches a few months now and couldnt be happier. From the moment we had met Judy and had a little tour of the centre, i instantly felt at ease and knew I was going to enrol our little Sophie in at Birches. I had discovered this centre the Wed night while i was in bed, took a tour the Thursday morning and by Thursday afternoon had given the centre we had Sophie in at the time notice that i was ceasing her enrolment. Judy is amazing, so warm and friendly and every one of the girls are just so wonderful with the kids. My husband and I very much look forward to our updates in the Story Park app to see what fun activities the kiddies have been up to that day. Sophie always looks so happy and all the kids seem to be getting along so well.
Our centre chefs prepare a nutritious menu for your child to sit down and eat. Educators model healthy eating practices, social behaviours and support children’s growing independence with mealtime routines. For integrated kindergarten programs (where kinder is a part of long day care), Free Kinder will appear as a weekly credit of $50.00 on your YMCA account statement. We deduct this credit from your fees, so you'll only need to pay for the cost of day care. To support our families, we offer both permanent and casual enrolment options.
To meet the daily needs of all the children in our services, we provide children with all amenities from nappies through to sunscreen whilst in attendance. With onsite kitchens each service provides healthy and delicious meals that support children’s daily dietary requirements. Touring the centre allows you to experience the environment firsthand and determine if it’s the perfect fit for your child.

At Creative Garden, we believe that the education of children in their early years is most effective when learning through play. Nurturing their development by encouraging hands on activities is fundamental to our philosophy. Our childcare and early learning centres across NSW, Victoria, Queensland and SA provide long day care and Government-approved Kindergarten and Preschool programs.
Multilingual environments also promote cultural appreciation and may align with families seeking to embrace Canada’s multicultural fabric. Nutrition and learning about healthy eating are also an important part of Aspire Pakenham’s curriculum. Recently the Kinder children participated in a sorting activity mat to learn about healthy and unhealthy foods! This helps kids grasp the importance of good nutrition, which is valuable knowledge to have as they transition into school. Birches ELC is dedicated to creating an environment that feels more like a home away from home for children and parents.
