One Word That Will Change Your Life

One Word That Will Change Your Life

While God is your anchor during times of big change, you are theirs. Play with them Go on picnics and to playgrounds. Camp out in the living room and build blanket forts. Enjoy time with friends when the ‘big change’ – whatever it is  – is off-limits.

In our day-to-day lives, there is freedom in Christ. We have freedom to try new things, explore new directions,  and see where we can use our unique gifts, talents, and skills to glorify God. Instead of worrying about our lives, we can simply rest, trust Him, and live for His glory. The kind of hope and security God’s grace gives a man puts an end to worry.
"Who has my wallet?" He's like, "Bro, I have your wallet." Now they're starting to get scared. You get to the hospital and you get sick . You throw up, which is weird because if your stomach is messed up or you have a virus or a bacterial infection it makes sense you throw up.

Having this type of research reminds me to be intentional with my time and what I am allowing myself to be exposed to. The Bible has been the most influential book in my life. It has guided me  as I have surrendered and released control to God. The Bible and a love for its words are a natural extension of your desire to honor the great sacrifice of Christ and know Him better.
The next day, at about noon, Peter has a vision from God. In the vision God shows Peter a sheet lowering from heaven with all kinds of four-footed animals, reptiles, and birds on it. In my last post I shared “What Jesus Said About Hearing God.” We learned that Relationship, not role, is the context for hearing and obeying the voice of God.

Replace any limiting beliefs or negative thoughts with the truth of God’s word. As Spirit-led or appropriate opportunities arise, get involved in existing endeavors or start something on your own to seek further knowledge and clarity around your purpose. Be flexible to modify or stop the opportunities if they are not a true fit for who you are, your life situation or what God is actually calling you to do. When you have partial or full clarity on your specific purpose, you may ask, “What are the steps to fulfilling God’s purpose for me?
But there are no indications in the Bible on whether you should be a lawyer, doctor, engineer or businessman. Concerning marriage, obeying God’s Word will limit your options only to Christians. But it gives no indication on which particular Christian you should marry.
I have asked God to use me to help homeless people get off the street. You said that our purpose is to do good works and glorify God. How can you do that if you don’t have any skills, talents, abilities, or finances needed to do these good works and glorify God in the process? The Bible says that God has a specific purpose for each of us. Doing good works is a basic purpose meant for everyone, not my specific purpose.

Our perspectives shape us, how we think, how we engage with people, how we action in our every day. Perspective creates opportunity to grow and opportunity to step out, or how it can hinder our progress and restrict us. Though you may feel alone and unloved, there is absolutely NOTHING, including depression, that can stop God from loving you. Nothing could be further from the truth. You are not outside of God’s sovereign will and gracious love.
I want you in your note taker in your phone to write out a new lens with God’s help. Paul could say, “Don’t be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,” because he was. He was conformed to the pattern of this world. Do you remember Saul’s name or Paul’s name before… I gave you a hint? Do you remember Paul’s name before he was called Paul? Saul was a Pharisee who hated Christians and he wanted to hunt Christians down, put them in jail, and kill them.

Peter literally says, "Angels desire to look into these things." Can you imagine what that must be like? Angels are leaning over the rim of heaven and looking down. They have seen what God did with the prophets. They have seen how Jesus fulfilled the prophecies with His birth, life, death and resurrection.
Just turn to your neighbor and say, “I’m being squeezed.” And if they’re squeezing, you just tell them, “Stop. That’s awkward.” We are being squeezed by the world around us. Well, and then you go further into the party and you see two people in a corner whispering and laughing. And you know what they’re whispering about, don’t you?

The more difficult things are, the more important good relationships become. It is my privilege to join you in praying for your daughter, son-in-law, and their two little girls, Patricia. May God’s will be done in all of their lives.
