To receive the Best Start, Best Life Kinder subsidy, your child needs to turn 4 years on or before 30th April 2024 and enrolled in a funded Kindergarten program in 2024. For 3 year old Kindergarten, to be eligible your child must be 3 on or before 30th April 2024 and enrolled in a funded Kindergarten program in 2024. Your child must attend a minimum of 2 days of Kinder per week, across which can be applied over 52 weeks of the year. The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) can reduce your daily out-of-pocket fee by up to 95% depending on your family’s entitlements. In Victoria, your kindergarten-aged child could also be eligible for up to 15 hours per week of kinder at low or no cost, on top of your CCS savings. To finalise your enrolment, you’ll complete an online enrolment form through a secure link sent by our Family Support Team. I have worked with this age group for the past four years and hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Early learning has always been my key area of interest, as these formative years lay the foundation for children’s future learning and development. At Kool Kidz Childcare Narre Warren, we provide a vibrant and nurturing environment for children from six weeks to six years old. We will be using the environment as the third teacher to support and guide children’s learning. Educators will set intentional teaching experiences to scaffold children’s learning and interests.
