Nothing matters more than creating safe and secure environments where children feel confident, and families place their full trust in our care. With the assistance of our Bachelor-Qualified Early Childhood Teacher, our Meadow Room provides a funded three-year-old Kindergarten Program. Our emergent curriculum supports children in developing social and emotional skills to engage with and collaborate with others. It encourages language development and communication skills and invites children to express creativity, confidence, and curiosity. This foundational stage is important for a child's cognitive and emotional development. At our centres, children are not just introduced to learning; they are immersed in a vibrant, interactive environment that stimulates their curiosity and creativity.
Toddlers, with guidance throughout the day, navigate social situations, investigate cause and effect relationships and build on essential early language and motor skills. Daily routines give children the opportunity to develop a sense of security, confidence, and willingness to engage with their peers. Each learning space has been thoughtfully designed to balance structured education with nurturing care, helping children feel safe, build confidence and develop independence every day. Our son has been attending Oz Education since happy valley kindergarten he was a baby, and now, as he gets ready for school, we couldn’t be happier with his progress. The educators are caring, professional, and nurturing, always supporting his learning and development. He loves coming to the centre every day, and we feel completely confident knowing he’s in such a safe and welcoming environment.

Our curriculum, which is a balance of child led and adult intentional teaching, offers children the opportunity to participate in active learning, whilst having the support and challenge they need from Educators. From 5 January 2026, the Australian Government is updating the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to guarantee at least 3 days of subsidised early childhood education and care per week.
Your child will need a backpack or bag, a refillable water bottle, a change of clothes, a wide-brim sun hat and their favourite toy, which can help them settle in. For kindergarten your child will need morning tea and lunch (dependent on the length of the program day). Little Environeers is operated by Little Environeers Pty Ltd, which contributes insignificant to the total available child care capacity in Victoria. Oz Education centres in Victoria are approved for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and participate in the Victorian Government’s Free Kinder initiative.

Every child in our care is individually nurtured and supported throughout their learning journey. This stage introduces more complex learning experiences through the investigations program, which is shared with the Pre-Kindergarten. With access to a shared outdoor yard, children enjoy open-ended play and collaborative learning. We believe outdoor play is essential for children's physical and emotional development. Our centre features a large, secure outdoor area with climbing equipment and fun activities where children can explore, play, and engage with nature daily. The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) can provide up to 100 hours of early childhood education or childcare every fortnight. Your eligibility for these hours is based on your family’s participation in work, study, volunteering, or other approved activities. The more time you dedicate to these, the more subsidised hours of childcare you can access.

The children were particularly interested in learning about Wombat Season and how animals, plants, and weather patterns signal transitions in the natural world. Their murals not only celebrate Autumn but also  reflect their developing appreciation for the ways nature changes and how people can learn from the environment around them. The Bear Room is our government-funded 4-Year-Old Kindergarten program, led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and supported by a passionate team of educators. Like the bear, children in this room are curious, capable, and ready for the journey ahead. We are proud to support a strong local community of families who value both the quality of education and the genuine care their children receive. North Star Early Education Bellfield offers long day care and Victorian Government funded 3 and 4 year old kindergarten, delivered by qualified early childhood teachers within a calm and supportive environment.

The Staff at North Star Early Education Wallan are very kind and friendly and look after my little boy with care and kindness. The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) defines seven Quality Areas under the National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure high standards of education and care in early childhood services.
