Beautiful calm environment for children to bring out their creative sides, we've been attending the holiday programs for years now and I'm always amazed at what the girls bring home. This summer at PLAYCARNIVAL, kids get to explore real, hands-on art — fluid pours (different techniques), marbling, decoupage, glow-in-the-dark painting, beads, glass art,  clay, upcycled crafts and all the fun and quirky tools they don't get to use at home. With life getting busy and changing weekly, we offer flexability for booking your weekly art classes.

Art Est Art School has succumbed to the pressures that have impacted many galleries, art schools and other creative businesses in epping art school and gallery the past couple of years. The business has struggled since we relocated due to higher costs, including overheads, materials etc, and a softening economy making it harder to fill and maintain classes.

WAC users have access to a wide range of professionally equipped studios. There are three large adaptable studios used for painting and drawing, as well as ceramics, printmaking, jewellery & sculpture studios, with space also for children’s art. The WAC is supported by a group of over 30 independent teaching artists offering first-rate tuition across 60 classes each week. By joining our Creative Kids art program Australia, your child will receive individualised attention, explore different artistic mediums, and gain confidence in their abilities.
We created a space that is open to kids and creative folks to explore and express their creativity via different forms of art, including oil pastel, colour pencils, painting, watercolour, ceramic painting, and more. They span across disciplines, from traditional canvas painting to messy play, punch needle art, shibori dyeing or kids school holiday. No matter which area you’d like to explore, you can be sure that there’ll be a workshop and teacher to show you the ropes in our art school. Each term your child’s artistic skills are developed with lesson plans designed by qualified art educators and professional artists. Children progress from Mini Monet through to Senior Transition classes where they are prepared to move on to HSC Art Classes or Certificate & Diploma Qualifications.
In this class, students will work to continue developing their drawing and painting skills through a variety of excercises tailored to this age group. Fresh term topics will ensure students remain engaged and constantly introduced to new themes, techniques, mediums and artists. Throughout the term, we discover the world of art through a variety of  themes and art materials.

The students engage in drawing from observation, images/photographs, and imagination, and focus on multiple age-appropriate sketching/drawing artists. The children also look at perspective and proportion and how this can be successfully depicted through drawn artworks, a valuable skill to any artist! We encourage creative drawing and welcome all experience levels.
They can also add advanced skills during weekly Master Classes in large vessel throwing, hand-building, pottery decorations and mould-making with slip-casting. Sketching, painting, sculpting, photography, pottery, glass making, scrapbooking... Wherever your interests lie, the harbour city is bound to have a course or class that caters for your passion. Since joining her class 2 years ago, my son has improved in his sense of creativity, observation skills and hands on ability, not to mention he’d also made lots of new friends and had a tonne of fun every week. The teaching artists at the Willoughby Arts Centre are highly qualified with many years of teaching experience and as practising artists and exhibitors. Visiting artist’s workshops & master classes are also held throughout the year, offering intensive weekend or longer workshops in specific areas of expertise.
